Coffee with the Assessor

Schaumburg Township Assessor John R. Lawson introdcued a new program "Coffee with the Assessor" that started in September, 2011.  The program allows residents to host a "Town Hall" style meeting in their own home for 10-20 guests.  This program allows residents who cannot attend the assessor's regular seminars to host their own private seminar.  The program allows the assessor to initiate more of a one-on-one dialogue with the Schaumburg Township residents.  He addresses property tax related issues; discuss procedures on how to appeal your taxes, senior exemptions, senior freezes and any other questions.

To schedule a coffee seminar with the Assessor, please call Schaumburg Township Assessor John Lawson's office at 847-884-0030 or visit www.schaumburgtownship.org/assessors.  The program critera is:  Must be a Schaumburg Township residential property owner; must commit to a minimum of 10 and no more than 20 guests; and must call the assessors office to schedule a date.
